Year 10's Sport Science Trip

21 April 2024

In an exciting endeavour aimed at elevating their NAE grade scores for the Sport Science GCSE, oue year 10 students recently embarked on a four-day expedition to North Yorkshire.

During their adventure, the students got to try out a mix of activities that combined learning with hands-on experience. They did experiments in sports science including indoor climbing and bouldering, and took on outdoor challenges that tested their physical abilities such as a road cycling. This gave them lots of chances to learn new things and improve their skills along the way.

As the students come back with new things they've learnt, the experiences they had in North Yorkshire show how doing things hands-on can help them become better leaders in sports science and other areas in the future, well done to everyone!
