Welcome to St Ignatius College Sixth Form – A Centre of Academic Excellence 

St Ignatius College Sixth Form offers a rigorous and highly academic environment, specialising in traditional A Level courses that prepare students for top universities and competitive career pathways. With over 200 students, our Sixth Form is housed in modern, purpose-built facilities that support focused study and high achievement.

Outstanding 2026 Results 

Huge congratulations to our Year 13 students on their superb A level results.  We have seen many very happy students as they achieved their destinations of choice, whether that was first choice university places or degree apprenticeships. 
 
We are delighted with results overall and there were some exceptional performances in subject areas.

Economics - 97% A*-C

There were also some exceptional students performance as follows:  

 
Abner achieved 4 x A* grades and secured his place to study Chemistry at Oxford  

David achieved 3 x A* grades and secured his place on his degree apprenticeship at Frontier Economics  

Adam achieved 3 x A* grades and secured his place to study Mathematics, Operational Research, Statistics and Economics (MORSE) at Warwick University
Abigail achieved 3 x A grades and 1 x B grade and secured her place to study Law and International Studies at Sheffield  

Lmar achieved 2 x A* grades and 3 x A grades and secured his place to study Maths at Warwick University  

Nathan achieved 3 x A grades and secured his place to study Law at Exeter University  

 
These results are testament to the hard work and determination of our students, the high-quality teaching and support and guidance of students by their teachers, the exceptional pastoral care of the Sixth Form team and the support of families.
